Terms of Service

Every job is priced on the phone before a technician leaves, and that price — the $89 service call included — is the price charged. It is not revised on arrival. Scope added on site is quoted separately and needs your agreement before it starts.

Ranges on this site are typical rather than binding. Evening attendance adds +$40, overnight +$75, and both are inside the total you are quoted.

Lockout work starts only once the technician has confirmed that the customer may lawfully be inside: identification with the address, a lease, a vehicle registration, or an owner confirming by phone. If that cannot be established, the job is declined.

Non-destructive entry is attempted first. Drilling or other destructive work happens only with your explicit consent, after the replacement hardware and cost are agreed.

Labour is covered for 90 days from the visit; hardware carries its manufacturer's warranty. Neither covers misuse, later forced entry, or alterations made by anybody else.

Payment is due on completion — cards and contactless at the door, itemised invoice by email afterwards. Where a technician has been dispatched and arrives, the cancellation fee quoted at booking applies.

To the extent the law permits, liability for claims arising out of a job is limited to the amount paid for that job; liability that cannot lawfully be limited is unaffected.

These terms are governed by CA law, with disputes heard in the courts serving San Jose.
